Directed by Dharani, it has Simbu playing the lead role enacted by Salman Khan in the original. Richa Gangopadhyaya will do the female lead.
Sources say that a grand set was erected at AVM Studios at a cost of Rs.2 crores to shoot the 'Munni' song for Osthi.
The song set to tunes by S Thaman featured Bollywod actress Mallika Sherawat shaking her legs along with Simbhu.The foot-tapping number has come really good and it was shot in a quick pace featuring Simbu and Mallika Sherawat.
The song has been crooned by T Rajendher and L R Eswari.
