Dhoni is Prakash Raj's home production where he has handled acting and direction too. The film is based on the emotions and dreams of a middle class father and a son.
Telugu director Puri Jagannath's son Akash does the lead role, a school boy whose only passion is cricket. Prakash Raj dons the role as a middle class father. Music of the film is composed by Maestro Ilayaraja and the film will be released both in Tamil and Telugu.
Attakathi is directed by Ranjith who was a former assitant to director Venkat Prabhu.
Attakathi is about one youth who thinks he has a mission to accomplish. Dinesh, who acted in Aadukalam, Mounaguru among other films plays the lead role. Swetha plays the female lead.'
Santosh Narayanan, who won the National Award for Advaitham has composed music for this film.
Both are films are expected to do good buisness as per trade analysts.
