Kollywood top star Surya's brother Karthi earned a reputation for himself in tollywood with his back to back hits like Naa Peru Shiva, Yuganiki Okkadu and Awara. Tollywood film makers are planning to cash in his name by releasing his debut film 'Paruthiveeran' as 'Malligadu'. The film stars Priyamani in a role that won her best actress award at National level. The film created a record in kollywood running 365 days in many theatres. Ameer directed the film which cast Karthi as a rural guy hailing from Madurai. Climax of the film is the star attraction of the gripping story.
