Time Magazine has referred to him as the "Mozart of Madras" and several Tamil commentators have coined him the nickname Isai Puyal (Music Storm). A. R Rahman’s career started in 1990’s. Rahman's journey was an interesting one; a journey that started from becoming Indian’s best musician to claiming international success and recognition. And today, A. R Rahman is releasing his Golden Globe Award album ‘127 Hours’ internationally.
Recently, there was news stating that A. R Rahman is taking a year long break from music composing. It was a shocker for the whole industry and fans alike. All the filmmakers consider Rahman’s break as their loss. Imagining the music industry without Rahman is impossible.
But this ‘masakalli’ music composer deserves a break. We are sure his family will happy with this decision of his, as they would get to spend more time with him.
On this occasion of Rahman’s birthday, we would like to thank this maestro for entertaining the whole nation and bringing us glory since so many years. Happy Birthday, A. R Rahman!
