Deepika padukone to play the female lead role in the movie “ Billa 2’ which is a prequel to 2007 hit BILLA.

Bollywood starlet Deepika padukone’s craze seems to be gripping the entire Kollywood these days. After director KS Ravi Kumar, it is Vishnuvardhan, who is vying for her. The actress is being contacted, to play the female lead role in the movie “ Billa 2’ which is a prequel to 2007 hit BILLA.


The actress is presently considering the project opposite to Thala Ajith and will finalize her stand by this weekend. Speaking about the female lead, Vishnuvardhan clarified that actress Anushka was previously considered, but is not a part of his project.


Vishnu said that, his movie has a lot of importance to heroine, who is super sexy, smart and savvy and after Nayantara, no one is fitting into the groove properly.


He said that, like in James bond films, where leading lady plays a vital role, his female will have good reel length in the film. He has disclosed that his sources are in contact with Deepika Padukone and the latest development regarding it will be out in a week time.


‘ Billa 2’ will be a strict 90 days project and will shot in Chennai, Goa, Singapore and Malaysia. Yuvan Shanker raja is music composer and Nirav Shah is handling the cinematography department.
