It all started when "Munni" Malaika pulled out of a scheduled appearance, citing an alleged pregnancy. The event was a stage show performance in the US with Prabhu Deva and others. MAK was said to be a bit apprehensive about the show from the get go. Organizers of the show have told some Indian outlets that MAK pulled out because she is expecting again.
When asked about the rumor, MAK's mother, Joyce, laughed it off and said it's not true. Malaika’s media shy mother, Joyce, confirms the news, ‘Do you think she is pregnant? Take my word for it, she isn't. I am her mother and I would be the first one to know. Mrs Zayed Malaika Khan is pregnant, not my daughter.’
But this didn’t stop the allegations, as while the shows organizers were claiming that Malaika Arora Khan was the one to say she was expecting, this is what the item girl came back with, ‘Every couple of years, the media makes me pregnant.’
