Gandhi Kanakku Renamed Mahaan Kanakku

Director Sampath Arumugam said that he has renamed the title of his film from Gandhi Kanakku to Mahaan Kanakku. He revealed that the title had to be changed because the censor board officials were set on that.


In fact the officials refused to see the film without the title being changed but soon after the film was screened for them, they were happy with the storyline. Sampath Arumugam said that the officials lauded his efforts in making a film that is the need of the hour for our society.


Mahaan Kanakku stars Ramana and Richa Sinha in the lead roles with Manobala, Srinath, Devadharshini and others included in the star cast.
