Atharva gets new look in Paradesi

Director Bala's 'Paradesi' which is based on Nanjilnadan's novel 'Eriyum Thanal' is one of the most awaited movies of the season. The film stars late actor Murali’s son Adharva in the lead role with Dhansika and Vedhika as the heroines.

The shooting for the film wrapped up within 90 days and the audio launch for the film is yet to release. The first look of the film has been released on to the internet much to the surprise of many fans. The lead actor in the film Atharva has been portrayed as a completely different person, who is rugged and very animalistic to look at. 

The movie is about the tribulation that a couple face in raising their son. Atharva plays the role of the son, while Uma Riyaz his mother. The film like any other Bala film is expected to be high on emotions and realistic portrayal and rawness is his strength, which seems to be followed in Paradesi too, by looking at some of the stills from the film.

Paradesi has been shot back-to-back in Salur and Manamadurai in Sivagangai district, in parts of Kerala- Munnar and Talaiyar and the forest areas of Kannakarai in Theni district. GV Prakash Kumar has teamed up with director Bala for the first time to score the music for his film making it one of the most expected albums of the year.
