Actress Oviya has also announced that she has donated her eyes. She made her debut as heroine through the Tamil film Kazhavani. She had acted in the film Marina and Kalakalappu. She is currently acting in three Tamil films.
She while mentioning about donating her eyes said, “ I have donated my eyes. I am very happy now after signing the requisite application form.”
Actor and actress have been involving themselves in many charitable acts. Vijay has been helping the poor students in their education. He has also started free computer education centres for the poor.
Surya and Karthi are giving financial aid for the education for the poor students. Actresses Trisha and Namitha are giving free food, clothes and blood donations through their fan clubs.
