Reading the headline don’t think that Mahesh Babu is doing a sequel to his hit movie ‘Okkadu’. This is news from Kollywood and it is heard that they are already preparing to take off with the sequel to the film. Apparently, ‘Okkadu’ was remade as ‘Gilli’ starring big star Vijay and it became a blockbuster.
Now, the sequel to that is about to start and it is heard that Amala Paul has been roped in as the leading lady for it. The sequel didn’t come in Telugu and there seems to be no intentions of something like that but the Tamil folks have decided to go ahead with a sequel and make it with more grandeur.
Meanwhile, the Tollywood folks are stating that if the sequel really materializes and becomes a hit then they might look at buying the rights and remaking it here. Amala has also got ‘Iddaramayilatho’ with Allu Arjun which would commence shooting in mid December at New Zealand.
