Kamal Haasan’s plan to premiere Vishwaroopam on the DTH has drawn flak among the theatre owners in Tamil Nadu and it was decided that they would not screen the film in theatres as such a move would hurt their business.

But Kamal has made up his mind to go ahead with the plan and the bookings to watch this film on various DTH platforms are going on full swing with the premiere set to happen on January 10th, at 9:30 pm.

The latest news is that the popular Cineplex in Chennai, Devi Cineplex has allotted its main screen, Devi to screen Vishwaroopam. The announcement was made through a paper advertisement indicating that the film will make it to the theatres!
