Vijay joins the Rs 100 crore club after Rajinikanth

Vijay’s Thuppakki, which released on Diwali has been declared as one of the biggest blockbusters in Tamil of all time. The latest buzz is that the movie has collected more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. Vijay is only the second actor from Tamil after Superstar Rajinikanth to join the Rs 100 crore club.

Another interesting information is that A. R. Murugadoss is the only director from tamil to reach this elite feat Kollywood and Bollywood. His Ghajini Hindi had collected more than Rs 100 crore at the box office. A. R . Murugadoss is currently remaking Thuppakki in Hindi with Akshay Kumar in the lead. He is hoping for that film to cross Rs 200 crore at the box office.
