Angelina Jolie has visited earthquake-stricken Haiti as she continues her humanitarian tour of Central America.
The actress arrived on the Caribbean island hours after leaving Ecuador where she had been working as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, it has been reported.
The Academy Award winner spent time with nearly 500 dislocated children, travelling to the SOS Children's Village in Santo, close to Port-au-Prince where they are living.
Jolie reportedly brought toys for the children and stayed the night in an SOS house.
"That is why I like to visit and support the SOS Children's Villages in the world," Jolie told Entertainment Weekly.
"Because I have seen that the children are growing up in a safe and loving environment."
