Raavan (Hindi) Released in USA. in 40 theaters and 30 Cities

Big Cinemas, a subsidiary of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group-led Reliance MediaWorks, will be the distributor of Mani Ratnam's Tamil and Telugu versions of his much-awaited Raavan (Hindi) in USA.


Titled Raavanan in Tamil and Villain in Telugu, the film will be released in approximately 40 screens across 30 cities in the US, besides 190 Big Cinemas US screens across 20 cities.


Reliance MediaWorks CEO Anil Arjun said: "There is a vast audience for regional Indian cinema outside India and particularly in the US. We are dedicated to bring these quality regional Indian language films to new markets where the audience waits to be entertained."

"Additionally, by building our own international infrastructure of cinemas, we are showing our commitment to these niche markets which we expect will deliver strong growth in the near future," he added. The film is all set to hit screens across the globe on June 18.
