South Indian Film Actor Murali Expired on Wednesday Sep 08

Actor MuraliStar of South Indian films Murali expired on Wednesday, September 08, 2010 following a cardiac attack. He was a big name in Tamil film industry. Murali died at the age of 46 in Chennai.

The actor was rushed to the hospital soon after he complained of the chest pain in the morning, where he was declared brought dead. Murali has acted in more than 100 movies.

The actor leaves behind his wife and two sons and a host of relatives and fans to mourn the loss. He debuted in films in a lead role with ‘Poovilangu’, in the year 1984, which was directed by Ameerjhan. Murali was the son of eminent Kannada film director Siddalingaia.

His other blockbusters include ‘Idhayam’, ‘Pudu Vasantham’, ‘Porkalam’ and ‘Sundara Travels’. His last film ‘Kavasam’ is scheduled to be released in this week. Murali’s one of the sons, Atharva too is walking on his father’s footsteps by choosing films as his career. Atharva recently debuted with ‘Bana Kathadi’.
