Aadukalam, touted to be one of the best performances of Dhanush in Tamil so far, does not have a villain for Dhanush to fight out. There is no villain claims reports.

Aadukalam gearing for Pongal release, directed by Vetrimaran of Polladhavan fame, will be racy and interesting film from the beginning till end, though without a villain.

The director informs, “In our life too, there are no real villains. People, depending on the situations, behave good and bad. Aadukalam will speak about a set of such persons.”

Vetrimaran continues saying,“Many thought Kishore is playing a baddie. But it is not true. One can get to see a new dimension of the actor in ‘Aadukalam’.”

Showering praises on Dhanush, Polladhavan Vetrimaran says, “Dhanush is a director’s actor, who is always ready to do experiments. For Aadukalam, he practiced hard the Madurai slang and the body language of the youngsters there.”

Dhanush himself had informed media that it is his best so far. The trailers are already out and the fans are eager awaiting its release, with the songs also turning out to be chartbusters, especially Yathu Yathu. As this is a film, about cock fight in Madurai, and having Tapasee Pannnu to romance on screen, the film is hitting a high voltage for the release!
