Vettai Mannan will be an action extravaganza with romance and comedy

It was already said that young and handsome star Silambarasan has signed up a new film titled ‘Vettai Mannan’ that has Jai and Santhanam in the other two important roles. It is said to be an action cum comedy drama being directed by Nelson and will be produced by NIC Arts SS Chakravarthy. It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

On speaking about the film, Simbu says “It has been a long time since I acted in an action movie. ‘Vettai Mannan’ will fill the gap.”

He adds, “Nelson has been working with me right from ‘Manmadhan’ days. He was there when I made ‘Vallavan’ and we worked together for a dance show too. When he came up with a racy subject, I grabbed it.”

The actor further says, “Vettai Mannan will be an action extravaganza with romance and comedy in ample doses. We are planning to rope in a few Hollywood artistes, including an actress.”

On denying the reports that the title resembles the Arya’s new flick ‘Vettai’, Simbu says, “we decided this title long back. We initially wanted to name the film ‘Vettaiyan’ but zeroed in on ‘Vettai Mannan’ finally.”
