Hindi version of his ambitious project Vettai Mannan along with Tamil

He has definitely re-invented the boy-next-door look with his onscreen persona and style.

Silambarasan aka STR never ceases to surprise you. Just when you expect him to go one way, he turns around and goes the other. He is a perfect example of a young man who drinks, eats, breathes cinema and is constantly thinking of ways to make a difference in the industry.

And now, why we are saying this is that, he has decided to make a Hindi version of his ambitious project Vettai Mannan along with Tamil and Telugu.

But he is quick to clarify: "No, I am not lured by B town, like other heroes. After the final script of Vettai Mannan was ready, I realized that it is going to be a big budget film. We decided to make a Hindi version as the script has a universal appeal and is sure to appeal to the sensibilities of Hindi audiences".

And the smart alec that he is, Simbu has decided to go for a Hindi music director dumping Yuvan Shankar Raja, his hot favourite. Question him about his heroine he quips: "Not one, I have three heroines in the film, and will soon announce the names once they are finalised."

Vettai Mannan has started rolling in Binny Mills in Chennai and soon the unit will be off to, Las Vegas, Mexico and Mumbai. Simbu has gone for a new look in the film and he says: "It will not be the usual formula, mass action film. I assure my fans that Vettai Mannan will be a classy entertainer with loads of comedy and fun". STR is smiling and we wish him all the best.
