The young heartthrob Surya has always maintained in his interviews that Kamal Haasan is his idol. No wonder then he jumped at the offer to do a film with the superstar. If reports are to be believed then Suriya insulted Kamal Haasan!

During an event recently, Suriya apparently ignored Kamal Haasan. After this snub, Kamal Haasan is said to be miffed with Suriya's attitude.

It is said to be the reason on why Kamal Haasan is not very keen to accept a movie under the Mani Ratnam which would have Suriya and Vikram playing the lead roles.

But why did Suriya do this? Incidentally he is now doing a film with Kamal's daughter, Shruti Haasan.
