‘Va-Quarter Cutting’ a small budget film released all over is doing a good business at the box office. The story of the film is strange and new.

VA-QC Story
The story of the film is just what happens for one night with three characters. The film is all how a guy runs in search of his first sip. The film from the beginning runs on the funny track.

Sundararajan aka Sura (Siva) lands to Chennai on his way to Saudi Arabia. In Chennai he stays with his Brother in Law Marthandam (SPB Charan) who is veterinary doctor.Sura gets to know that liquor is not permitted in Saudi Arabia as the law in the Middle Eastern countries are tough. So he starts his hunt along with Marthandam in have his last guzzle before he boards his flight. The day turns to be dry the wine shops are shuttered down as the elections are going on. He will go in search on places in Chennai where the liquor will be available. His first attempt in having a gulp he reaches a star hotel, an Anglo Indian group of youngsters, fish market, political meeting, a gambling center and so on……In his journey he fortuitously meets Saraswathi aka Saro (Lekha Washington) who is attempting to kill herself for the reason that her parents scolded her. And the rest is how Siva reaches his mission and leaves to Saudi Arabia will part the remaining story. The film comprises of strange scenes which never seen in until now.

Performances
Siva naturally gave a his best for the role and he is seen cool.SPB role is quite apt for him and Lekha Washington is an appropriate pick for the role she performed, but she needs to perk up herself in acting.

The technical team has done everything in a right proportion.Nirav Shah is an added advantage for the film as he captured the night life by using appropriate lights.

Analysis:
The film even though having the best slapstick actors didn’t well and film is too long to stick back. The film can be watched by people who are informal and sporty.
