Aadukalam was given green by the censor board officials on Wednesday (December 15). After the screening got completed the Censor officials have given ‘U’ certificate for the film.

Initially there were few speculations about the making of the film as it is based on a real story happened in Madurai, but by breaking all the rumors, the movie didn’t had a single cut. Censor officials were impressed with the fresh look as it is not regular kind of film.

The film is slated for Pongal release and Sun Pictures is already on with the promotional activities. Music given by GV Prakash Kumar is topping the chartbusters.
