Hailing Harris as a hard worker, Shankar said that the music composer never hesitated to do experiment. Gautham Vasudev Menon, one of the best friends of Harris, admired the music director’s acumen to compose right songs every time.
A R Murugadoss said Harris is a music composer with admirable screenplay knowledge. Veteran lyricist Vaali lauded the composer's musical finesse and said he was immensely talented.
Actors who attended the event include Suriya, Karthi, Sathyaraj and Vinay. Singers Harish Raghavendra, Mahathi, Saindavi, Naresh Iyer and Krish performed chartbusters of Harris.
Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu was also present at the function organised by Laya Media. In his acceptance address, Harris thanked members of his orchestra for contributing to his success.
