Kanimozhi Movie Review

Kanimozhi Movie Review
Movie Name: Kanimozhi

Cast: Jai, Shazahn Padamsee, Vijay Vasanth

Director: Sripathy Rangasamy

Producer: T. Siva, Sona Heiden

Music Director: Satish Chakravarthy

Rating: 2/5

Kanimozhi has created much excitement because of the title and more over of the grand audio function. The film was released today with great expectations.

Kanimozhi Story:

Jai is just like a guy who is next door. He is typical student who specializes in Viscom. Jai is like any other student of his age that we come across. Shahazn Padamsee is a pretty girl who resides in the same area. Jai falls in love with her after meeting her for quite a few times. From then he decides to convey his love to her.

Every film has a twist right the same happens here too. Vijay Vasanth from the same area who is fond of Shahazn plans to get her in his life at any cost. Vijay being a typical guy makes his own approach to get into her life. He just tells a simple lie which will result in his parents approaching the girl’s family seeking for an alliance. From here the film creates more interest. What’s next? Will Jai or Vijay holds her hand will part the rest of the film.

Highlights:

Jai is good in the film but the film has not made any mark in his career. It will be just one more film for him.

Shahazn Padamsee is cute but why they chosen her is a big Q? She needs to put much more efforts in facial expressions if she is sure about her career as an actress.

For Vijay Vasanth is also good but not that appealing.

Swathi of Subramaniapuram fame does a cameo role in the climax.

For the director is the best chance for making his debut but unfortunately he exploited his chance.

Satish Chakravarthy has given good music but director has failed to utilize the tunes in a right way and haven’t created any impact.

Cinematography is also on the same track as above as there is no proper differentiation between day and night as everything is merged.

On a whole the film is very flat and there is nothing new to excite the audiences.

Bottom Line: Soul-less affair
