Sultry babe Shriya Saran has taken up the cause to fight for the handloom weavers of India. We hear that she is pained with the state of the craftsmen in various parts of India and wants to make a difference. It is being learned that she is quite keen to partner with designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who has been working with the chanderi craftsmen and spreading the word around too.
Shriya, we learn, will also be rooting for the same issue and speak about saving the craftsmanship whenever she gets an opportunity. Shriya has been very motivated about this and has been visiting the handicrafts to check out the state of affairs as well as chat up with the craftsmen to know what problems they are facing. Looks like Shriya has set her eyes to make a difference.
