Our bodies are complex organisms. Our vital organs and tissues need a steady supply of various essential vitamins to generate new cells, prevent disease and stay healthy.
We have these essential vitamins through the foods we eat. In a perfect world, we could perfectly balanced meal that contains the exact amount of each vitamin we need.
But of course we do not live in a perfect world. Our hectic schedules we have to eat fast food and other things that are poor sources of essential vitamins. And of course there are certain foods that everyone just do not like (usually those who are rich in vitamin.)
From our food does not provide the vitamins that our body needs, build vitamin deficiencies that often lead to all sorts of health problems (cardiovascular disease, immune system problems and even cancer, for example).
While there is no substitute for a balanced diet, vitamin supplements can help us fill the nutritional gaps left by poor eating habits.
And while multivitamin supplements work very well for many people, others are better served by taking individual supplements of specific vitamins, including B vitamins and vitamins C and E.
It is highly recommended that you consult your physician and / or nutritionist to help determine which vitamins you should add to your supplement regimen (and equally important not to take).
