As per the sources it is heard that Kaavalan is going for censor in a couple of days and the chances for the film releasing for Pongal are very much bright. Now it’s confirmed that the film will be releasing as per the scheduled date (January 14th).

Kaavalan is Vijay’s 51st film and is adapted from Malayalam hit Bodyguard. Asin is doing her third film with Vijay after Sivakasi and Pokkiri. She is hoping it will be hat trick victory with Vijay.”
