Liza Minnelli

Liza Minnelli Biography Pictures Photos Videos , Liza Minnelli Born on March 12, 1946, in Los Angeles, California. While her first appearances were with her superstar mother. Liza is the daughter of actress Judy Garland and film director Vincente Minnelli. Minnelli has been able to step out of her mother’s shadow to establish a significant career as a performer. In addition to Garland, Liza’s father Vincente Minnelli was also well known in Hollywood for his work as a director.
In the 1950s, her father married again and had a daughter, Christiana Nina, with his second wife Georgette Magnani. Minnelli remained close to her father throughout the rest of his life.
As a teenager, Minnelli gave up on school and went to New York City to pursue a stage career. She landed a role in the off-Broadway revival of the musicals Best Foot Forward in 1963, which brought her strong reviews. Around this time, Minnelli also appeared on her mother’s short-lived television series, The Judy Garland Show. Minnelli also performed with her mother during Garland’s stint at the Palladium in London and wowed audiences and her mother with her vocal prowess. According to The New York Times, Minnelli said “It was like Mama suddenly realized I was good.”
In her first leading Broadway role, Minnelli appeared as the title character in Flora, The Red Menace in 1965. The light musical comedy poked fun at the 1930s socialist movement. While it only ran for a few weeks, the musical brought Minnelli a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She was only 19 at the time, making her one of the youngest performers to ever win the award.
Minnelli became known as a song-and-dance trouper of stage and screen; she won a Tony award for 1965’s Flora, the Red Menace and an Oscar for playing Sally Bowles in the 1972 film Cabaret. Her 1972 TV special Liza With a ‘Z’ (directed by Bob Fosse) won an Emmy. She also starred conflicting Dudley Moore in the successful romantic comedy Arthur (1981). In the 1980s and 1990s Minnelli was especially known for her live revues, including shows with Frank Sinatra and his latter-day Rat Pack.

Liza Minelli undoubtedly is looking very surprised nowadays. It looks like that she has had a brow lift and/or a facelift as well as an eyelift (blepharoplasty) and quite possibly some botox.
Liza Minnelli has no longer has under eye bags or wrinkles and her eyebrows are noticably much higher up on her forehead, which is a telltale sign of an hostile face/brow lift. With all the cosmetic work she’s had done, I’m a bit astonished at the condition of her teeth. She looks like she could use a good teeth whitening treatment, or veneers to attach the deep stains on her front teeth.
Not only has Liza Minnelli been a receiver of bad plastic surgery, but according to Liza’s ex husband, David Gest, Liza is also a “violent alcoholic with herpes”.
Minnelli appeared with no clothes for a playboy shoot in No Meals on Wheels. The photographer is begging her to put her clothes back on, while she is is saying, “Mama, Mama! Do you love me now Mama? Please love me Mama.”(Speaking to her deceased mother Judy Garland).Courtesy of Liza Minnelli’s official website, BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at Mars Chocolate North America’s new Snickers commercial starring Liza Minnelli and Aretha Franklin.
