The much awaited movie of the Kollywood 'Siruthai' is all set to hit the screens on the Harvest day. Karthi who has given blockbuster hits like Paruthiveeran, Aayirathil Oruvan, Paiya & Naan Mahaan Alla has set high expectations on this movie.

Karthi plays dual role for the first time in 'Siruthai' as a thief and as a police officer. Karthi plays an aggressive police officer role 'Rathnavel Pandian IPS' with a touch of humorous elements during the second half which comes as a surprise to the audience.

Milk Beauty Tamanna is playing his love interest in this flick again. The duo has given a musical hit 'Paiya' in the past and expect to create magic again now.

Speaking to the media Karthi said that he had watched all the movies of the stars including the latest Salman`s Dabangg and that forms his inspiration to take the best to donn in his role.

He also added that the humorous touch of Sallu bhai for a police character really inspired him and you can have the same touch in Siruthai.

Karthi is quite excited and curious to know the audience reaction about his first time dual-act attempt.
