The Rakthacharithram duo of Suriya and Vivek Oberoi took part in a celebrity doubles tennis match at the Aircel Chennai Open on Monday (Jan 3) evening.
Suriya partnered with Rohan Bopanna, while Vivek teamed up with Aisam Querishi from Pakistan.
The match between the duos created great curiosity, on who will be winning the match. Finally Suriya lost the match with a difference of seven points. On losing the match Suriya retorted in good humour: "We know each other for a long time, and Vivek always calls me Anna, so how can I see him lose, especially in Chennai?"
It is known that Suriya endorses Aircel in Tamilnadu the main sponsors of the tournament. Mahesh Bhupathi, Leander Paes and Somdev Devvarman also took part in the play-offs
Vivek who calls Suriya, Anna said after the match: "Chennai guys are large hearted especially my Anna who lost to me."
