Latest Buzz is Simbu acting int the Remake of Dabangg

Cineclouds has earlier reported that Salman Khan starrer Dabangg rights have bagged by one of the leading producer in Kollywood. Now latest update adding to this that Silambarasan aka Simbu is likely to replace the role of Salman Khan for the Tamil version.


Mohan Apparao and T Ramesh have reportedly purchased the remake rights of Dabangg for a whopping amount. Both of them have earlier have earned a hit with Dhanush starrer Uthamaputhiran, which is also a remake of Telugu film. For bagging the remake rights they faced heavy competition from three other producers.


Simbu will play cop Chulbul Pandey and this is going to be his first cop role. Salman Khan played this role outstandingly in the original version. The character carries loads of fun and punch dialogues. The rest of the details pertaining to the other cast and crew will be disclosed by the film makers through an official announcement.
