Mappillai Release date to be confirmed Not on April 9th

Sun Pictures and Dhanush have shared a tremendous track record as both their movies: ‘Padikadhavan’ and ‘Aadukalam’ have been more of successful projects. Now they are all set to complete their hat-trick spell with ‘Mappillai’. This commercial entertainer directed by Sooraj is a remake of yesteryear Rajnikanth movie with the same title.


Previously, news was published that Dhanush’s ‘Mappillai’ and Silambarasan’s multi-starrer movie ‘Vaanam’ are scheduled to hit screens on April 9.


Apparently, Dhanush has said that the theatre confirmations have been almost done, but the date of release is yet to be finalized. It previously happened with his ‘Aadukalam’ where the news was confirmed that the film will release in December, but later got postponed to Pongal.
