Anushka has been signed to pair with Kamal Haasan in the film titled Viswaroobam. All of a sudden Anushka was a bit reluctant when people said that Kamal would be strict in the sets and there will be kissing scenes.

When Kamal came to know about this, he spoke to Anushka and convinced her. Convinced by this, Anushka is now eagerly waiting for her portions.

A film based on the life of Tippu Sultan is being made in Malayalam. Kamal Haasan will be donning the role of Tippu Sultan. Vayalar Madhavan Kutty is directing this film.

At the time when the whole nation is celebrating New Indian Anna Hazare, Shankar has spoken to Kamal Haasan about making Part 2 of Indian. Kamal Haasan has told Shankar, "You complete Nanban and I will complete my Viswaroobam and we will do this project."

Kamal said, " Salangai Oli. That is one of the roles which I really enjoyed. In my recent films, there were less scope for dancing. Salangai Oli is a film which is based on dancing. Only in these kind of films you can see that the dance is not forcefully there. Only in this film I can prove my dancing skill. Let’s wait and see."
