Kamal Haasan to play Tippu Sultan in bi-lingual

It is known news that the iconic actor Kamal Haasan has been busy with the his new project Viswaroopam. Kamal haasan, apart from doing the lead role also wielding megaphone for this flick. Vishwaroopam is touted to be a spy thriller on the lines of the Hollywood film Mission Impossible.

Apart from Viswaroopam Kamal is would also start 'Nanbargalum 40 Thirudargalum', the latest about the Ulaga Nayagan is that he would soon act in a Malayalam movie. In this flick Kamal Haasan is all set to play the legendary warrior king of Mysore Tippu Sultan.

The film will centralize legendary characters such as Unniarcha, Chandu, Aromal Chekavar, sultan, Hyderali and Fathima Beevi. John Paul who is a noted Malayalam writer is penning the script for this historical epic while Vayalar Madhavan Kutty will be handling the direction department. The shoot of the film is going to start mostly during early next year as Kamal is busy with his prestigious film Vishwaroopam. The female lead and the rest of the cast are yet to be finalized.

Leading businessman and producer, Gokulam Gopalan is producing the film; he is also a very close friend of Kamal Haasan.

The shooting of the movie scripted by John Paul and directed by Vayalar Madhavan Kutty, is expected to begin by March 2012 and the film is aimed for a Deepavali release next year. "It will be shot on a lavish budget," sources say.
