No, not in real. But in 'Saguni', which according to Karthi is his first film with a political theme. "Though it is a political thriller, things have been told in a lively way, which would make an entire family to sit and enjoy," he says.


"I think my responsibility to come out with watchable movies has increased these days. Whenever I am in a public place, I find a number of children coming to me and exchanging pleasantries. So I am selecting stories which will be enjoyed by kids as well," he says.


Directed by Shankar Dayal, a newcomer, 'Saguni' has Praneetha of 'Udhayan' fame opposite Karthi. "Saguni is the story of an innocent youngster who comes to the city from a village. How his life changes after that is the crux."


Describing Santhanam as the 'second hero' of the film, Karthi says, "Such is the importance given to his character. His performance would sure bring the roof down. Our alliance continues after Siruthai."
