Her name is Angela Johnson and she stunned many with her bold looks in the Kingfisher Calender January 2011. The 20-year-old model might have just landed herself a plum role and as heroine that too opposite Vijay in his upcoming project with AR Murugadoss, and this film will be produced by Vijay's home productions under dad SAC's banner.

She has reportedly given her consent to act in the movie. It may be recalled that Bollywood actresses like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also in the race for the role.

It was just a few days back that there was a heroine hunt for that face that would share screen space with Vijay in this project that involved the top names of Bollywood. Now the director's search seems to have ended when he zeroed in on Angela Johnson. She has reportedly given her consent to act in the movie. It may be recalled that Bollywood actresses like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also in the race for the role.

Angela has already been in the news for her alleged linkup with Ranbir Kapoor. Like most popular heroines in Bollywood who humbly began their careers acting in South Indian films and made it big in Bollywood, soon there might be one more name to add to this list - Angela Johnson.

Angela Johnson was born in Chennai to an Icelandic father and Mangalorean mother.

This Murugadoss-Vijay offering is believed to take off during the first half of October. The core team will soon meet the press to divulge information on what the film will deal with as well as their new find - Angela Johnson.
