Director Bala has started following this Hollywood pattern

Many of the famous Hollywood films are based on the novels written by famous authors like Alistair Maclean, Fredrick Forsyth, Mario Puzo, Ian Fleming, John Grisham, David Copperfield and Shakespeare.

In the recent times our Kollywood ace director Bala has started following this Hollywood pattern. Bala had directed Naan Kadavul based on the small story written by Jayamohan. Now based on the recommendation of Jayamohan, he is directing a film based on the novel Eri Thanal. He has also titled the film Eri Thanal.

The late actor Murali’s son Adharva is donning the lead role in this film while Thananya is doing the female lead role. She has already acted in the film Kunguma Poovum Konjum Puravum. After completing this film, Bala will be directing a film that will have Vishal in the lead role. This film is also based on a novel.

The novel is supposed to be in Malayalam and this novel has also been recommended by Jayamohan. Since this novel has not been translated in Tamil, Jayamohan himself has translated and written the screenplay so that Bala can go through it. Bala has also made some corrections in the screenplay. Bala adapting literary novels has been the hot topic for debate in modern literary circle. Vishal after acting in Avan Ivan has been listed in the list of the actor who can act. Vishal is in cloud nine because he is once again going to join hands with Bala.
