The film has Arya and Vishal in the lead with new girl Janani Iyer as heroine.
Avan Ivan will be Bala's first film in the comedy genre with plenty of family sentiments thrown in and has an impressive all new and veterans in the cast in supporting roles.
Suriya is doing a cameo role as himself in the film which he shot a few days back, and is going to be a laugh riot.
Now a new heroine Madhu Shalini, a former veejay and model is paired opposite Arya. The tall sexy Madhu has done couple of Telugu films and is now looking forward to Avan Ivan as her big ticket to Kollywood.
Avan Ivan is produced by AGS Entertainments with camera by Arthur Wilson and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Says Vishal: "It will undoubtedly be one of the most important film in my career, and my first double hero subject. I'm very happy to be a part of this Bala film, which is shaping out well".
